Yesterday afternoon, we charged the credit cards of backers who had completed their BackerKit surveys (which is still most of you but not all of you). A few charges failed to go through, but we're talking very few.
What this means for you:
If you saw a charge on your credit card, you're all good! Your order is locked down and you can sit confident that you've moved onto the next stage of fulfllment.
If you were notified that a charge was attempted on your credit card but failed, please try to either solve the issue, change the card on your account, or get in touch with us, by Friday afternoon. That's when we're attempting to charge cards again.
If you have not been charged or been notified of a failed charge attempt, then chances are you haven't completed your BackerKit survey. A new reminder e-mail was sent earlier today. Check the junk folder of the e-mail attached to your Kickstarter account.
For anyone other than backers who have been successfully charged, the next important date is Friday, January 18th. That morning (Eastern time), we'll be sending out individual e-mails to anyone BackerKit lists as incomplete. That afternoon, we'll be attempting to charge cards again.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Our social media accounts are still active, each serving different purposes:
Instagram: Greg shares images of his production progress and the new designs he is working on. It is the best place to get Bannerless Builds news
Twitter: Finding and sharing content of interest to tabletop RPG players.
The only platform we've let go cold is our YouTube channel. We haven't given up on it, but video content is time consuming to produce and our time is dedicated to production at the moment. Once we've fulfilled the Kickstarter, would you all be interested in more stress tests? Other videos? We're open to suggestions.

Survey Reminders

According to Backerkit, 80% of our Backers have responded to the survey. If you are one of the 80%, thank you! If you aren't sure, let me ask you this: Have you received a reminder e-mail this week?
If you still aren't sure, that's OK! We are charging credit cards on the 15th, giving you 5 days to check your junk filter for the survey link. We'll be sending the survey every morning around 10:00am Eastern, including sending one immediately after this update is posted. If you are reading this update in your e-mail, now's your chance! Check to see if an e-mail from BackerKit about your Fantasy Facades pledge is in your junk folder now!
There's no shame in missing an important e-mail. We've had been a victim of aggressive junk. *cough* Hopefully we can bump that response rate up to 100% in the next 5 days and the credit card charge step can go smoothly.

What The Holidays Mean For Us
Greg will be taking next week off to spend time with his daughter, wife, and friends. You can expect he'll be gaming when he can and cooking up ideas for future terrain projects that could one day turn into Bannerless Builds products. For now, though, he's put the resin down and is taking a break from production.

As far as your Bannerless Builds orders are concerned, Greg's holiday break does not impact you in any way. When we scheduled our fulfillment, Greg took note that it went over Christmas and factored that into his calculations. So this week off does not affect our production schedule in any way!
Beyond your Bannerless Builds concerns, we hope you all enjoy this season and find time to get in a game or two (or many!) with family and friends. From our gaming group to yours, Happy Holidays!
